Sky Zone

Problem:

Create consistent, custom platforms within demanding timelines

When Sky Zone initially contacted Lapeyre Stair, they had encountered numerous problems common to specialty constructions. The chain of indoor trampoline parks needed a unique stair, platform, and railing system that could be standardized for their national franchise locations. The independent contractors with whom the chain had been working struggled to meet demanding timelines, and the resulting systems were inconsistent from one site to the next.

Strategy:

Dedicate an in-house engineering team to developing a unique product solution

The in-house design and engineering team at Lapeyre assessed Sky Zone's situation and determined that the best way to serve the franchise would be to begin with pre-engineered platforms, legs, and crossover systems, which could be customized with Sky Zone's unique needs in mind.

Sky Zone

Solution:

A pre-engineered, custom design system built with safety and fun in mind

With a dedicated design and engineering team committed to solving Sky Zone's unique stair, platform, and railing system dilemma, a solution capable of meeting all of the franchise's needs was quickly crafted and deployed. The resulting single platform, stair, and rail system:

  • reduces opportunities for error,
  • permits rapid installation, and
  • provides a sleek, fun and safe design for owners, parents and children.
Juan Brandt, Cutler Bay’s Sky Zone franchise owner, said of the experience, "The Lapeyre Stair system looks great and has performed well so far. I enjoyed working with the Lapeyre Stair team; they were extrememly responsive and attentive to my project's needs. Lapeyre supported us throughout the design and construction phase, to help ensure my park could open as planned. I will definitely use the Lapeyre System at my future Sky Zone projects and recommend the system to other franchise partners."

Lambeth House

Problem:

Provide a comfortable staircase on a tight schedule

New Orleans' Lambeth House, a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community, is a community committed to providing a positive, enhanced lifestyle that serves the whole person - mind, body, and spirit. Naturally, that attitude extends to architecture, the context within which the staff and community members thrive.

When Lambeth House approached Lapeyre Stairs, the directors explained the importance of making use of the of staircases pleasant for employees. However, time was of the essence as the community was legally obligated to finish construction on or before a set schedule.

Strategy:

Choose a dedicated stair manufacturer with a shipping guarantee

Lambeth House chose to work with Lapeyre Stair, a dedicated stair manufacturer, recognizing that experts in the field would be committed to creating a system that would meet all of the needs of the community. Pre-engineered steel welded egress stairs paired with the Lapeyre Stair Shipping Guarantee ensured that the construction would be completed in a timely manner. The highly customizable design meant that Lapeyre could also accommodate the community's unique needs, such as a specialized High Performance Paint Specification.
